AlnorSELECT offers eight intuitive modules that facilitate both the design of complete heat recovery systems and the precise selection of individual components. Whether you need a heat recovery unit, heater, air flow controller, or ventilation distributor, the calculator will help you find the best possible match.

How Does AlnorSELECT Work? A Guide to Its Features

Designing a complete heat recovery system requires care and precision. Therefore, AlnorSELECT offers the "Design a Heat Recovery System" module, guiding users through the entire process—from defining specific building parameters and selecting suitable devices to designing the ventilation duct system. The application automatically calculates the building's volume, assuming a standard room height of 2.6 m, with the option to edit this value. Based on this, an air balance is generated, which can be adjusted to individual needs. The user then selects a heat recovery unit from the suggested models and chooses duct diameters and materials, such as steel or EPP. Upon completion, an editable list is generated, containing all the necessary system components.

In addition to designing heat recovery systems, AlnorSELECT offers seven additional modules, each dedicated to specific components:

• Heat Recovery Units and Ventilation Systems – This module allows browsing and filtering 328 ventilation unit variants based on parameters such as air flow rate (m³/h), installation method, connection layout, presence of a heater, constant flow module, or heat exchanger type.
• HDE-CO Electric Duct Heaters – A tool for selecting round heaters based on input data like air velocity, duct diameter, climate zone or external temperature, and target air temperature.
• HDW Water Duct Heaters – A module dedicated to selecting water heaters, considering inlet air and fluid (water or glycol) temperature and air flow, with options to choose models and access technical data and valves.
• HDE Electric Duct Heaters – Functions similarly to HDE-CO but without contactors.
• Round VAV variable air volume regulator – Enables the selection of variable air volume controllers based on minimum and maximum airflow, operating mode, and casing insulation.
• Rectangular VAV variable air volume regulator – Similar to the round controller module but designed for rectangular devices, allowing for the adjustment of control parameters and casing materials.
• FLX-REKU Home Ventilation Distributors – This selector allows users to design air distributors using a graphic editor, simplifies material and connector diameter selection, and generates 3D visualizations.
