Constant air volume (CAV) regulator CFR-PC-ABS / CFR-PC-ABS-HP automatically adjust itself to maintain predefined air flow rate. When the pressure increases or decreases the regulating mechanism reacts by opening or closing the throttle, thus maintaining a constant air flow. The flow regulator is designed for a low-pressure (50 - 200 Pa) and a medium-pressure (150 - 600 Pa) and can be mounted in both horizontal and vertical duct lines. CFR-PC-ABS / CFR-PC-ABS-HP can be used either at the supply or exhaust air side. The regulating mechanism includes a stainless steel spring.
Flow regulator CFR-PC-ABS / CFR-PC-ABS-HP is made from class M1 (according to NFP 92-501) PVC plastic which makes it fit for use at temperatures up to 60°C. It is equipped with an EPDM gasket providing a tight connection between the regulator and a ventilation pipe wall.
CFR regulator should be mounted in the distance equal at least 3 times its diameter from a supply valve and at least 1 diameter away from exhaust valve.
