The ILA-FLS-SMO-SIL flexible flanged expansion compensator (thermal expansion compensator) is designed for single-zone smoke extraction systems and mixed (dual-function) systems. The compensator is made of AMT tape, which connects steel sheet and silicone-coated silicate fabric on both sides. Welded joints and other connections are covered with a high-temperature sealing compound. SMOKE System fittings are available in diameters from 100 to 1000mm. Compensators should be used for ducts exceeding 5m in length. The maximum permissible distance between compensators must not exceed 10m.
