FLX-CS-PVC and FLX-CF-PVC: Essential End Caps for FLX-REKU System Airtightness

The FLX-CS-PVC and FLX-CF-PVC end caps are vital PVC accessories for the FLX-REKU flexible air distribution system. These components serve a dual purpose: providing effective protection against the contamination of duct interiors during site installation, and permanently sealing unused connection spigots on plenum and distribution boxes to maintain the system's required ATC2 (D) airtightness class.

Installer Focus: Two Types for Precise Application

The system relies on two variants of the end cap, each designed for a specific fitting requirement:

  • FLX-CS-PVC (Connection Seal - Push-Fit):
    • Fits inside the ends of FLX-HDPE and FLX-HDPE-A semi-rigid ducting (e.g., during construction site work).
    • Is mounted onto (externally) the connection spigots of the FLX-PLO-75 and FLX-PLO-90 plenum boxes to plug unused outlets.
  • FLX-CF-PVC (Connection Seal - Female):
    • Fits inside the connection spigots of the FLX-PRO-63 plenum and distribution boxes.

All end caps are manufactured from durable PVC and feature a short length of 20mm for minimal profile when installed.
