Semi-flexible aluminum ventilation duct

Semi-flexible ventilation ducts are constructed from spirally wound aluminum foil. They are used in ventilation and air conditioning systems, allowing for flexible connections between components such as main ventilation runs or plenum boxes. These ducts are also ideal for transporting hot air, for example, from fireplace hoods.

  • Material: Aluminum foil, spirally wound.
  • Flexibility: Minimum bending radius is R=1.5 D (one and a half times the diameter).
  • Temperature range: From -30°C to +250°C.
  • Maximum humidity: 95%.
  • Allowed static pressure: 2000 Pa.
  • Allowed static vacuum: 1000 Pa.
  • Maximum airflow speed: up to 25 m/s (recommended up to 7 m/s).
  • Fire resistance: Non-flammable.
  • Packaging: Standard sections of 3m length.
