Collar saddles

Colar saddles are produced in diameters range 80 to 1600 mm of galvanized, aluminium and acid-resistant sheet at 15, 30, 45, 60 and 90 degrees angles.

They are recommended in the version with EPDM seals to ensure achieving "D" class leaktightness according to Eurovent (SITAC certificate). In both versions there are several types of collar saddles:

  • Pressed pieces SP and SPL with 90° angle and lateral pipe diameter range 80-315 mm.
  • In case of non-standard lateral and pipe diameters and in versions where a lateral is bigger than a pipe diameter it is recommended to use SSC and SCCL T-pieces and symetric SS and SSL T-pieces.
  • In the case of angles different than 90 degrees SSCV and SSCVL collar saddles are offered, where angles may vary within 15 and 90 degrees.

They are used to ventilation ducts and fittings.

Pressed ventilation saddle (tee saddle) is used as an element for ventilation T-pieces production. Pressed saddle is also used as a way to branch a circular spiral duct, semi-rigid ducts or flexible sonoduct off the main duct run. Spun radius improves airflow and energy efficiency in the ventilation system. An end is equipped with EPDM rubber seal provides air-tightness class D acc. Eurovent standard. Pressed ventilation saddle (tee saddle) is used as an element for ventilation T-pieces production. Pressed saddle is also used as a way to branch a circular spiral duct, semi-rigid ducts or flexible sonoduct off a main duct run. Spun radius improves airflow and energy efficiency in the ventilation system. Pressed saddle is often used by manufacturers for production of straight tees and X-pieces. Raw on both ends.

Segmented ventilation saddle (tee saddle) is used as an element for ventilation T-pieces production. Pressed saddle is also used as a way to branch a circular spiral duct, semi-rigid ducts or flexible sonoduct off a main duct run. Spun radius improves airflow and energy efficiency in ventilation system. An end is equipped with EPDM rubber seal that provides air-tightness class D acc. Eurovent standard. Small collar has only 5-7 mm, it is used for mounting on spiral duct, which requires careful assembly, however the amount of material used determines a low price.

Segment collar saddles


SPS short segmented collar saddles are universal pieces
for fabricating ventilation duct T-pieces. They can also be
used as splices for branching the main round ventilation
ducts with spiral ducts, FLX flexible ducts, or aluducts.

While the flange installed on a round duct is rather
short (5-7 mm) and requires careful handling, the low
material consumption makes the product very affordable.

Full-size segmented collar saddles allow fabricating round
duct branches at the ductwork points that can only be defined
when the main ventilation ducts have been installed. The
collar saddle is installed by cutting an opening to match in
a spiral or plain duct and fastening the piece with rivets or
self-drilling screws.

The joint edges need to be sealed with a silicone or acrylic compound.
This product is specifically recommended for branching systems that
require air tightness class D according to EN 12237.
This is the only saddle that allows fabrication of offset branches with
the branch duct diameter larger than the main pipe

SSCCB segmented collar saddles allow fabricating round duct
branches at the ductwork points that can only be defined
when the main ventilation ducts have been installed.

The collar saddle is installed by cutting an opening to match in
round spiral or plain duct and fastening the piece with rivets
or self-drilling screws. The joint edges need to be sealed with
a silicone or acrylic compound.
The saddle's design improves the airflow compared to standard
collar saddles.

45 degree collar saddles

Collar saddles are provided with a T-piece end leaning at 45°
to the main ventilation duct. The piece can be installed on any
part of a finished ventilation duct or shaft. The installation
requires cutting an opening in the duct, in which the piece
is fastened with rivets or screws, and sealing the joint with a
silicone or acrylic compound. Collar saddles are available at
any T-piece end angle from 30° to 80° for an non-turbulent,
smooth air flow.
