A new model in the SlimAIR family is arriving!
In Q4 2023, we will introduce a new model of the HRU-SlimAIR-800 heat recovery unit. It is easy to decode this HRU model: the capacity will be 800 m3/h at 100 Pa. The design inherits the best features of the SlimAIR series, which include an EPP casing, a PET counter-flow heat exchanger with a very high recovery rate, and energy-efficient EC fans.
It is natural that the size has grown with the capacity: 386 x 1079 x 1397 cm. The HRU will also be available with a counter-flow energy recovery ventilator, intended for projects where moisture recovery is required. Traditionally for ALNOR air handling units, the controllers and sensors will connect wirelessly, but this time a version with wired controls will also be available.
CWS-COMBI – an innovative air intake and exhaust unit for efficient forced ventilation where there is little installation space. Thanks to a unique design, fresh air is taken simultaneously with ejection of waste air and without cross-flow within a small space.
The unit is perfect for heat recovery systems where there is no room for traditional ventilation ductwork. It is made of durable galvanised steel and powder-coated in RAL9010 for a great finish. There is an integrated drip cap to protect the exterior wall from dirty weeps, and a mesh to fend off debris. The product is available in the RIGHT- and LEFT-HAND versions.

When building a house with low energy consumption, otherwise known as a passive house, it is necessary to use the highest quality components that will allow us to achieve high energy savings relative to conventional house design. One of the 3 pillars of passive houses is mechanical ventilation with heat recovery. Recuperation provides fresh and clean air, and thanks to the high efficiency of heat exchange - significantly reduces heating costs.
It was tested at 100% efficiency with the maximum airflow of 242 m3/h. What’s also noteworthy: Dimensions of the unit are extremely flat with a height of 242 mm.

The new models are the HRU-SlimAIR-350 and HRU-SlimAIR-500, with capacities of 350 and 500 m3/h, respectively. Ceiling-mounted heat recovery units can be equipped with an enthalpy exchanger (moisture recovery) and a CF module (constant air flow). The maximum heat recovery for the HRU-SlimAIR-350 is up to 94%. The version with enthalpy exchanger (the HRU-SlimAIR-350E) is characterized by heat recovery up to 91% and moisture recovery up to 87%.
The heat recovery efficiency of HRU-SlimAIR-500 heat recovery units is up to 95.2%, and for the version with enthalpy exchanger (the HRU-SlimAIR-500E), up to 89% heat recovery and up to 85% moisture recovery.
Universal installation is a unique feature of SlimAIR heat recovery units: they can be wall-mounted horizontally, vertically, or suspended horizontally (HRU-SlimAIR-250 and HRU-SlimAIR-350). In the case of HRU-SlimAIR-500, this unit is designed to be either ceiling- or wall-mounted, vertically.
HRUs are equipped with pleated filters with increased filtration area, which generate low pressure drops. The filters are classified as ISO Coarse 70% according to ISO 16890. ISO ePM1 55% fine filters are also available.
