The SIL-GL-SMO circular acoustic attenuator is designed for single-zone and mixed (dual-function) smoke extraction systems, providing E600 120 (h) S1500 single fire resistance. Its construction includes double-lip EPDM gaskets and a 1.8 mm thick, 10 mm wide intumescent gasket, with all welds and connections covered by a high-temperature sealing compound. Attenuators are available in a wide range of diameters from 100 to 1000 mm. They are built with a perforated inner casing, filled with glass wool insulation (50 mm or 100 mm thickness, minimum density 10 kg/m³), and an outer casing made of galvanized steel.
