F..-MSF: Rubber Foam Insulated Female Coupling (Sleeve)

The F..-MSF female coupling (sleeve) is a highly practical component designed to provide both physical and thermal continuity when joining two male-ended (nipple-sized) fittings within the FOAM System. This fitting overlaps two such male components—like an elbow, T-piece, or reducer—on both sides. The factory-fitted rubber foam insulation ensures that thermal breaks are eliminated, complementing the entire system of insulated ventilation and air-conditioning ducts and fittings.

Functionality and System Integration

The F..-MSF acts as a seamless connector, allowing installers to combine various fittings while preserving the airtight and thermally protected envelope of the ductwork.

  • Connection Purpose: Used to join two fittings which are of the size of the male couplings (nipples).
  • Overlap Function: The sleeve structure overlaps both fittings, securing the joint and covering the exposed ends of the inner metal core.
  • Thermal Continuity: The fixed rubber foam provides continuous insulation, which is critical for preventing condensation and maintaining energy efficiency at complex joint points.

Material and Dimensional Consistency

Consistency is key across the FOAM System. The F..-MSF is manufactured to a uniform length regardless of the diameter, simplifying inventory and installation planning.
