HRQ-REC: Intelligent Core Defrosting Module for HRU-AIR-NA

Functional Mechanism and Integration

The HRQ-REC module works as an intelligent, mechanically controlled component of the total ventilation system, ensuring reliable operation when air recirculation is required.

• Actuator Control: The HRQ-REC has an electric actuator installed directly on it. This component is responsible for switching the intake duct damper.
• Air Redirection: Under specific conditions defined by the unit’s logic, the actuator turns back the ejected air (exhaust air from the house) from the unit back to the intake.
• Intelligent System Control: The device is powered and controlled directly through the intelligent PCB (Printed Circuit Board) of the main ventilation unit. This PCB contains a special algorithm programmed to adapt the operation of the HRQ-REC to external atmospheric conditions.

Installation Note for Technicians

The unit features output stubs for connection. Installers must pay close attention to the connections of the output stubs before connecting the HRQ-REC module to the main ventilation unit.
