Tightness Class "D" with screws for ventilation ducts

Tightness Class

 

Tightness Class "D" according to PN-EN 12237 is preserved when the following steps are followed:

  • Fittings have EPDM rubber seals  
  • The system of ducts and fittings has been tested with respect to the standard EN-12237
  • SPIRO duct is properly cleaned of swarfs after cutting
  • The screws are screwed alternately from opposite sides
  • Screws have the tip of the drill smaller than the thread - that is WGO-D

 Tightness class "D" guarantees TALT butyl tape. Especially useful for sealing the installation of roof ends.
