The RACAV constant airflow regulator is dedicated for ventilations systems to keep the constant air flow. The device operates without power supply, from minimum differential pressure range referred to in diagram 1 to maximum differential pressure range equal to 1000Pa.

Beyond that range the accuracy of the maintained air flow may deteriorate. The regulator can be used in intake and exhaust installations, as well as in comfort and industrial ventilations.

Adjustable CAV air flow regulators

Constant air volume (CAV) regulator CFR-PVC automatically adjust itself to maintain predefined air flow rate.  When the pressure increases or decreases the regulating mechanism reacts by opening or closing the throttle, thus maintaining a constant air flow. The flow regulator is designed for a low-pressure (50 - 200 Pa) and a medium-pressure (150 - 600 Pa) and can be mounted in both horizontal and vertical duct lines. CFR-PVC can be used either at the supply or exhaust air side. The regulating mechanism includes a stainless steel spring.

Flow regulator CFR-PVC is made from class M1 (according to NFP 92-501) PVC plastic which makes it fit for use at temperatures up to 60°C. It is equipped with an EPDM gasket providing a tight connection between the regulator and a ventilation pipe wall.

CFR regulator should be mounted in the distance equal at least 3 times its diameter from a supply valve and at least  1 diameter away from exhaust valve.
