The HRU-MinistAir-W-450 heat recovery unit is designed for
single-family houses up to 200 m2 in usable floor area.

Heat and energy recovery ventilators - up to 85.5% efficiency

The HRU-MinistAir-W-250 heat recovery ventilator is a compact unit that delivers a maximum airflow of 220 m3/h. The HRU-MinistAir-W-250 is designed for installation in smaller homes and apartments, can be mounted only horizontally. Four connection spigots are located on the top of the unit which makes the unit ideal for locating within a loft void and wall mounting brackets are also supplied. Additional accessories also available.

Circular electric duct heaters for heat recovery unit

Electric duct heaters HDE-CO can be used as optional heaters for a heat recovery unit MinistAIR-W-450.
Depending on the functions of heaters in ventilation system, duct heaters can be divided into: 
- preliminary
- secondary
A preliminary heater is installed on the exhaust duct of HRU  (fresh air from outside) and it is used to preheat the air supplied to the heat recovery unit. The preliminary heater is fitted to prevent freezing of the heat exchanger at extremely low outside temperatures and it does not affect the temperature in the room. The standard heat recovery unit MinistAIR has an automatic frost protection function, which protects from freezing by periodic altering of  fans’ speed. It is recommended to use a heater with one contactor type HDE-CO1 or with two contactors type HDE-C02.
A secondary heater is installed on the supply air duct (fresh supply air to the room) and it is used for  additional heating of the supply air temperature. After connecting the heater to the heat recovery unit MinistAIR-W-450 we are able to task the temperature in the room when we feel that thermal recovery alone is not enough for our comfort. We recommend a duct heater HDE-CO2 with two contactors.

Semi-rigid radial ducting for Heat Recovery Systems - 75mm & 90mm

Standard air distribution ducting system used in mechanical ventilation system with
heat recovery are rigid spiral ducting and flexible ducting, but semi rigid radial duct
made of plastics are gaining more and more popularity.

75mm semi-rigid duct is made of PE (high-density polyethylene - HDPE).
The small diameter of the duct allows You to "hide" the ducting in screeds or
suspended ceilings. Semi-rigid ducts have high mechanical resistance and air tightness.
What is more, the external corrugation (corrugation) of the tube assures great
flexibility
, which makes the assembly so much easier. The inner side of the duct
is smooth to ensure low air flow resistance.

Availble versions 

There is a semi-rigid duct version with antibacterial coating (FLX-HDPE-A) -
on the inside they are covered with an antibacterial layer. In order to differentiate
a 75mm semi-rigid duct with an antibacterial layer and without it: 

  • FLX-HDPE-A-75 - with a coating is blue
  • FLX-HDPE-75 - without A coating is gray.
