New to the Alnor lineup—the CWS-ODA intake unit and the CWS-EHA exhaust unit

The CWS-ODA intake unit and the CWS-EHA exhaust unit are a new family of wall-mounted ventilation system terminations in the Alnor lineup—for connections ranging from Ø100 to Ø315 mm.
These components are designed for residential and small commercial mechanical ventilation systems with heat recovery. The CWS-ODA intake unit is responsible for drawing in outdoor air and providing initial protection for the system, while the CWS-EHA exhaust unit ensures the efficient removal of air from the building.
Advantages of the CWS-ODA and CWS-EHA:

• the intake’s geometry is designed so that the air velocity at the inlet does not exceed 2.5 m/s, which limits water ingress during rainfall,
• low flow resistance—for the CWS-ODA-250-400-400 model, the pressure drop at 500 m³/h is approximately 12 Pa,
• a contoured front with a rain shield on the intake and a perforated front with longitudinal openings on the exhaust unit, directing the airflow away from the building facade,
• protective mesh included as standard—protects the system from leaves, insects, and larger debris,
• access to the mesh without having to remove the entire unit from the wall, and smooth interior surfaces for easy cleaning,
• a connection spigot with an EPDM gasket—for quick and airtight connection to the system,
• identical external dimensions of the intake and exhaust openings, ensuring complete visual symmetry on the facade.

For certain connection diameters, various faceplate sizes are available (from 160 × 160 mm to 400 × 400 mm), and the recommended maximum airflow rate varies with the active surface area—from 125 to 800 m³/h. This allows the outlet to be selected not only based on the duct diameter, but above all on the actual flow rate in the system.
