The end elements of the ventilation systems - especially in household systems are the air supply or air exhaust ventilation valves.
Depending on the type, they are available with various diameters ranging from 80 to 250 mm and made of RAL white painted steel material or chrome-plated or made of acid-proof sheet.
The product portfolio also includes wall-mounted chromium-nickel air intakes or outlets which supply air e.g. to a heat recovery unit from the other side.
They are available with diameters ranging from 100 to 200 mm and in various types, e.g. with a drip cap or a mesh, or non-return ones – suitable for various types of ventilation systems.
Supply air valves and exhaust air valves - closer look
In any mechanical ventilation system, air valves are an important component. They are used in rooms where the ductwork meets the ceiling or walls so that air can be properly extracted or supplied. The supply air valves should supply fresh air to the occupied spaces and the exhaust air valves should exhaust the used air.
They are located in circular ducts or plenums through ceilings or walls. At least one supply or exhaust valve should be installed in each room in your home that you wish to extract air from or supply air to. They must be located away from cookers, other extract fans and extractor hoods. It is generally recommended that if a room is 50m2 or larger, two air valves are required to provide a quiet system.
For domestic and commercial ventilation applications, we offer a comprehensive range of air supply and exhaust valves. Some valves are universal and can be used for both exhaust and supply as required. Bathrooms, shower rooms, kitchens and other rooms with high humidity require exhaust points. Rooms that require supply points are living rooms, bedrooms and all habitable rooms.
The air valves can be categorized according to the materials from which they are made, namely sheet steel with a powder coated finish to RAL 9016, chrome nickel, stainless steel or plastic. They are available in a range of sizes to suit the different installations of the ductwork system.

Mounting frames, also known as mounting rings, are designed for exhaust and supply air valves and are manufactured from galvanised and stainless steel sheet, with or without rubber seal. These elements ensure the total tightness of the system. We have a wide range of options to suit your needs, including long sealed air valve mounting frames, supply and exhaust valve mounting frames, and stainless steel duct finishing rosettes, which provide a neat finish to hide the rough edges of duct penetrations.
