Air duct humidifier for MVHR system

You want your home to have optimal air humidity, right? Get a HomeEvap duct humidifier!

An air duct humidifier allows you to regulate the relative humidity in your home. It can also solve the problem of dry air. HomeEvap air humidifiers are energy-efficient devices designed to be installed in mechanical ventilation systems with a maximum air volume of 600 m3/h.

Why should you buy a HomeEvap humidifier?

  • improves home comfort by regulating relative humidity,
  • the process of air humidification is natural - water evaporation,
  • suitable for direct installation in an HRV  system,
  • the automatic and energy-efficient operation,
  • easy to install and maintain,
  • EPP is used for the housing, and fibreglass for the matrix.
  • built-in PTC heater,
  • Legiosafe® water filter prevents bacteria growth
  • duct sensor (included) measures RH and prevents condensate from forming in ventilation ducts,
  • a wireless room controller and a duct sensor control the humidifier,
  • HRQ-HUM-HomEvap-200 set includes wireless controller, duct sensor, heater, legionella filter, matrix and valve.

How do duct humidifiers work?

A duct humidifier is installed in the supply duct behind the heat recovery unit, thus becoming part of the ventilation system. As soon as the relative air humidity falls below a certain level (we set the value ourselves), the humidifier kicks in.

Here is how the humidification process works:

  1. Humidity levels in our home are decreasing
  2. Dry warm air passes through the HomEvap humidifier
  3. Filtered water (Legiosafe®) naturally evaporates on a special matrix
  4. Then, the humidified air is distributed to the ventilation duct system and to connected rooms.
  5. The humidification process is regulated by a wireless room controller and a duct sensor.

Single room mvhr unit with WiFi - Energy efficient ventilation unit

Can a Single Room Heat Recovery Unit be controlled via WiFi?

It can NOW! With the new HRU-WALL-WI model, You control the wall-mounted heat recovery unit via a free app.

A single room heat recovery unit is a heat recovery ventilation system designed to effectively ventilate a single room (by supplying fresh air and removing used air while reducing condensation). Because these single room mvhr units are compact, they can be installed in an apartment or in an older building where the installation of a traditional ventilation system is impossible or too expensive.

The advantages of the HRU-WALL-WI heat recovery unit include:

  • Wi-Fi module allows you to connect the device to a local wireless network
  • With the WallAIR application, you can control:
    • Select a speed (3 speeds)
    • Select operation mode (alternating with recovery, unidirectional, temporary boost)
    • Wireless synchronization of several units
    • Temperature and relative humidity sensors readings
    • Grouping of heat recovery units, e.g. by rooms (wireless synchronization)
    • Automatic dehumidification mode
    • Statistical distribution of humidity over time
    • Filter replacement timer
  • Up to 82% heat recovery
  • 3 speeds
  • Airflow 20/40/60 m3/h
  • Easily installed and maintained
  • Ultra-quiet fan with a low sound power level of 38 dB (A)
  • Low power consumption (max 3.8W)
  • Integrated temperature and humidity sensors

Why You should choose NEWEST single room mvhr unit?

We offer 3 variants of HRU-WALL heat recovery units. The main advantage of the HRU-WALL-WI wall-mounted mvhr unit is the integrated Wi-Fi module.

With the Wifi module, you can operate the device through a mobile application. The WallAIR app can also synchronize the work of multiple units:

  1. You can assign each unit to different groups,
  2. Switch modes simultaneously for all of them,
  3. Or you can control each unit separately.

This method of ventilation control allows the device to be customized to the needs of each household member. In other words, if one of your household members uses boost mode to ventilate their bedroom, then the rest of the apartment can be ventilated in daily mode 2 at the same time.

Synchronization is done using Wi-Fi, which minimizes heat recovery ventilation installation costs. In this case, You don’t need to connect the units via cables if we install several units.

Official Guidebook on RAHU technology

Want to learn more about RAHU? In that case, Eurovent's recent guidebook on Residential Heat Recovery Ventilation Units is a must-read.

Artur Kołacz, Alnor's RAHU Product Manager, is among the HVAC experts who were involved in this Guide. PG-RAHU members from all over Europe collaborated for about two years to create a comprehensive and universal knowledge base about Heat Recovery Ventilation.

His role as product manager at Alnor and expert in RAHU allowed him to not only become involved in the whole project but also contribute a segment about casing (pg.30). Here he discusses the importance of the casing construction and shows the most common types of casing along with his commentary (pros and cons) in relation to thermal insulation properties, airtightness, and comfort.

We are thrilled that Eurovent is promoting IAQ and Mechanical Ventilation, not just through the introduction of new laws and regulations, but also through education for manufacturers, installers, designers, and end-users.

Thank you for your outstanding work and dedication:
Jan Andersson, Vytautas Astrauskas, Xavier Boulanger (Aldes), Jaroslav Chlup, Wolfgang Grassler (J. PICHLER Gesellschaft m.b.H.), Henning Gronbaek (EXHAUSTO),
